In the last 7 gamse, against the Force, the Blues have won.  So really, it doesn’t look like Perth has a chance.  Keep in mind the Blues also have 3 home games against them, with 111 points from that time.  Blues have more chances of winning in this game on Saturday 1st of April.

Keep in mind The Force have back to back defeats, and also has been beat by the Crusaders, in their last game.

In the last game between the Blues v Force, The Blues ran out 17-13 winners in Perth last year.  We expect the Blues to come out as winners out of Eden Park against a Force

2016: Blues won 17-13 in Perth
2015: Blues won 41-24 in Auckland
2014: Blues won 40-14 in Perth
2012: Blues won 32-9 in Auckland
2011: 22-22 draw in Perth

Are the Blues on a Roll

The BLUES win again.
In-front of a bumper 31,014 home crowd, this 34-15 victory was a step up from last week’s upset of the Hurricanes in Wellington. While Auckland’s population are a bit slack in passion towards sports teams it is obvious that they want to believe in this rugby team. I remember the poor attendance last year to their games. Last night there was an atmosphere in the crowds walking past Eden Park Bed and Breakfast that I haven’t seen since the RWC 2011.
And 5 try’s to zip says it all….
While it’s too early to say these rejuvenated Blues are the real deal – there is no doubt Sir John Kirwan, Graham Henry and co have modelled a unified, passionate group.Long may it continue. I am a great believer that a strong Auckland Rugby presence offers great value to New Zealand Rugby.

Black Friday for the Blues......again!

Oh so close yet so far ! The Blues rugby team lose again to the South African Sharks. With a disjointed crown of aprox 10,000 watching ; the Black Friday curse struck again . We Lost !!!
There is going to be some serious blood letting within the coaching team and the Auckland Rugby Union Board over this malaise . It is now at the stage of being embarrassing to the public that support the team. Lost 6 games…..won 1.
At Eden Park Bed and Breakfast we had guests that watched and although most didn’t understand the rules they were enthusiastic . Shades of the RWC fever from last year. I even saw war paint on some of the supporters. Here’s oping that the ANZAC League Test next week between New Zealand and Australia goes better for us
